Creating Space is a movement based biomechanical approach to labor progress and comfort with the intention of reducing complications and unnecessary intervention. Learn usable information for what labor positions and relaxation techniques to suggest at specific different points during the birth process and, most importantly, why certain techniques are more effective than others at certain times in labor.
This workshop for birth support professionals will benefit prenatal and birth workers - doulas, midwives, obstetricians, nurses, childbirth educators, chiropractors, massage therapists - both new and experienced. Develop a deep understanding of the relationship between pelvic biomechanics and fetal positioning and create the foundation for encouraging effective movement and positioning to facilitate labor progress. Evidence based information is presented in an interactive hands-on format that encourages participation to facilitate anatomical understanding, to develop the skills and techniques for supporting client-centered birth experiences, and the" why" behind positions and movements for efficient birthing. Birth professionals will gain confidence and a skill set for supporting labors both medicated and unmedicated, in any setting.Learn more and register via the link below.
